Central Oregon, fire was originally reported yesterday at 1144 hours near Forest Road 16 and Whychus Creek on the Sisters Ranger District of the Deschutes National Forest. By the time this photo was taken, approximately 36 hours later, the fire has grown to 2,700 acres.
