Nichole joins me for a mid-afternoon walk in my favorite cemetery. Hope Abbey Mausoleum was open and we had a look around.
It was designed by Ellis F. Lawrence, who was the first Dean of the University of Oregon’s School of Architecture and Allied Arts. The mausoleum is a rare example of Egyptian Revival style.
